With Christmas just around the corner, every mum tends to come up with a whole bunch of ideas for the perfect gift. But if you’re an Egyptian mom, instead of asking for a mani and pedi or a treat to the spa, your wishes are something entirely different. Here are 10 things Egyptian moms want from Santa this Christmas:
For kids to sleep when it’s bedtime
Instead of having to chase them around the house to put them in bed or feed them because they’re hungry all of a sudden. Why does putting the kids to sleep take two hours? Please Santa, send us a magic wand to put the children to sleep with a swish.
For kids to eat what’s actually been prepared for lunch
Even if they’ve requested a specific meal, they never end up eating it. Please Santa, make the kids eat their veggies.
To be able to go to the bathroom in peace
Please Santa, give mums the privacy they deserve and the ability to poop without kids banging at the door or staring. It really is a simple but much-needed wish for Christmas.
To lose weight without having to diet
Let’s face it, Santa, raising kids can be quite stressful and the one thing that keeps mothers going is that bar of chocolate at the end of the day. So, dieting isn’t really in the cards. Can you just do your thing and make the weight magically disappear?
To help the father breastfeed
Put those useless nipples to good use and make them wake up in the middle of the night to breastfeed, too. Just a night week at least, please.
To make the wrinkles disappear
There’s not enough time for a mother to apply creams day and night. So please, Santa, can your gift be smooth and healthy young-looking skin forever? Thank you.
To make positive parenting easy
It’s a struggle every day not to lose your temper when they’re being naughty and cheeky. Instead, keeping it in makes mothers want to explode. Can you find a way to make positive parenting come naturally, Santa?
To have a clone of me
Everything needs to be done by the mother. She ends up raising the kids, caring for their education, feeding them, taking them to practice, cleaning the house and so much more. An Egyptian mother needs a whole lot of help, but she wants it done a certain way, her way! So, please Santa, can you make more versions of me to be able to finish the million tasks and duties of an Egyptian mother?
