Pregnancy with twins or triplets is difficult to detect by a home urine test. The human chorionic gonadotropin level (HCG), hormone detectable in urine during pregnancy, is too high to be detected by a home test.

You have an ectopic pregnancy

According to Mayo Clinic, ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside the main cavity of the uterus. It usually occurs in a Fallopian tube and might be undetectable in a home test.
